Anti-slip products are beneficial across a wide range of industries such as oily offshore platforms, greasy food processing plants, wet residential decks, power generation plants and automotive stamping plants. To help our customers combat these dangerous environments we proudly offer Safeguard Technology's step covers, ladder rung covers, walkway covers and cable & piping covers; and Lea-Der Coatings traction mats, rotary table mats and rig floor coatings. These products help both employees and employers by ensuring fewer mishaps and injuries, a decrease in lost workdays, fewer insurance claims and lower premiums.

Safeguard Technology provides high quality anti-slip covers for almost any application. Safeguard covers are NOT a non-slip coating that can be applied in the field. They are a pre-fabricated product that can be retrofitted over an existing surface allowing for little or no downtime and easy installation. Safeguard uses a multi-step process to ensure that their products are corrosion, UV and fire resistant. All of the Safeguard covers can be ordered with a wide range of options and features to ensure effectiveness and greater visibility.

Safeguard anti-slip covers include the following features:

• Choice of base materials: Stainless steel, Galvanized steel, Fiberglass and vinyl sheeting.
• Choice of 6 different grades: Super Fine- Barefoot for boats, pools, showers
• Extra Fine- Residential for deck steps, porches, bus steps
• Fine- Commercial/Pedestrian for bus steps, commercial buildings
• Coarse- Industrial for most industry applications
• Extra Coarse- Offshore/Heavy Duty for oil platforms, heavily soiled and oily areas
• Super Coarse- Xtreme for the most severe conditions
• Choice of a wide range of available colors including two-tone and HiGlo "glow in the dark" options for maximum visibility.

Custom Safety Products

Custom Safety Products Safety Pad II FR is molded from a high strength, fire retardant and chemical resistant urethane with stainless steel studs protruding from its non-skid surface. Grooves are molded into its surface for drainage of fluids which accumulate during drilling operations.
This high-traction work surface is custom molded 1 1/4" thick to fit the rotary table, drill floor, pipe rack and any other critical work or walk area. Safety Pad II FR can be molded 3/4" thick for use on stairways, derrick boards, and workover rigs.

Lea-Der Coatings

Lea-Der Coatings has been working to develop anti-slip products for the oil and gas industries as well as other industrial and commercial applications. They provide both direct application coatings and retrofit custom made industrial polyurethane matting.

Lea-Der Coatings' custom traction matting and rotary table mats conform to the following specifications:

• Rotary Table and Rig Floor mats are custom manufactured from industrial polyurethane.
• Rotary Table mats are 1.25" thick and Rig Floor mats 0.75" thick or as requested.
• Mats available in any colour with identified danger zones.
• Rotary table mats are usually safety yellow with orange sloped edges and rig floor matting blue.
• Rotary table mat has company name, rig # and danger embedded in a contrast colour.
• Mats have aggressive aggregate embedded to create a traction enhanced surface.
• Stainless Steel studs are embedded for added traction.
• Mats are very durable and resistant to the fluids encountered in the oil and gas industry.
• Channels in mat surface allow for fluid run off & additional traction.
• Hinged access doors &/or 1/4" cable for additional strength, can be embedded in mats if required.
• Worn mat surfaces can be repaired / restored / resurfaced.
• Weight approximately 8 lbs per sq. ft.
• All mats are manufactured to customer specifications / supplied drawings for ease of fit.
• Mats can be attached to rig floors using conventional methods.
• Outstanding performance for safer working conditions.
